First we started with this, which is actually much larger than it looks. Think the size of three small cars:
Then falling backward, moved on to this:
I wiggled out, trying to make the pose of the chalk outline the police use. Yes, I know my arm was wrong:
Lessons learned:
- Again, don't play in the street with traffic.
- Leaves are much more giving than one might think. I sank quite a ways as displayed in the picture above.
- Leaves are VERY itchy.
- You will get tree sap on your coat and hair.
- Making memories you wished from childhood is always worth it as long as no one gets hurt.

That looks like so much fun.
i have been tempted to do that with the piles around our apartment building, but then i remember in my youth jumping into a pile of leaves that was also used a dump for dog doo...then i think...maybe not! glad you made your own memories!!
Reminds me of a time in high school my friend Ruthless tried to hide in a pile of leaves so she could jump out and scare our other friend Jaso when he pulled up in his car. Except that Jaso thought it would be funny to drive his car into the pile of leaves to scatter them. Ruthless is still alive today because I jumped out in front of the car and stopped him.
You're awesome! That looks like so much fun ...
Beautiful new space you have here; I'm now subscribed :)
ha. ha. So fun. You look so happy in the last one.
Hugs.
Did you fall into the pile of leaves with a wet sucker? ;-)
That is one big leaf pile! It looks like fun!
It always astounds me that not every one has jumped into a pile of leaves. I am glad that you made a fun new memory!
